MGM Cancer Institute, a leading destination for advanced cancer care, is delighted to announce the overwhelming success of its fourth edition of the “Walk in Pink @ Namma Chennai” Walkathon. This remarkable event has become a significant milestone in the ongoing battle against breast cancer, raising awareness and promoting early detection. The Walk in Pink event united cancer champions, doctors, students, and employees of MGM Healthcare, along with the community, in a collective show of support for breast cancer awareness. The spirit of solidarity and commitment displayed by all participants reinforces the importance of education, advocacy, and early intervention in the battle against breast cancer.

The “Walk in Pink @ Namma Chennai” walkathon was flagged off by Mr. S.M.Nasar, Minister for Minorities & Non-resident Tamils Welfare, Mr. M.K. Mohan, Member of Legislative Assembly, Anna Nagar, in the presence of Dr. M.A. Raja, Senior Consultant, Medical Oncology, Director, Oncology Services, MGM Cancer Institute; Dr. Veda Padma Priya, Senior Consultant, Breast Oncology, Clinic B, MGM Cancer Institute; and Dr. Kirti Katherine Kabeer, Consultant, Breast Oncology, Clinic B, MGM Cancer Institute. The walkathon started from MGM Cancer Institute on Nelson Manickam Road and culminated at Anna Nagar Tower Park with an overwhelming response of over 500 participants.
