This Walkathon was an initiative to promote breast cancer awareness and highlight the need for the right treatment at the right time. Students from various colleges and MGM staffs took a walk to Anna Nagar Tower Park spreading the message. The event was graced by Thiru MK Mohan, MLA, Anna Nagar, Chennai and Ms. Revathi, Actress, Film Director & Social Worker. Breast cancer survivors also shared stories and highlighted the need of early diagnosis.

It commenced from TI Cycles of India Ambattur OT and concluded at MGM Cancer Institute, Nelson Manickam Road, Aminjikarai.

Cycling is a healthy, low-impact exercise that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, from young children to older adults. Riding to work or the shops is one of the most time-efficient ways to combine regular exercise with your everyday routine.

MGM Healthcare, Chennai is all set to launch its exclusive Institute for Cancer at the earliest in the city. Through this initiative we want to eradicate the fear prevalent among the people about Cancer. We want the patients to go through the journey of cancer in a smooth relaxed way.
