Dr K S Sunil Kumar is an outstanding pathologist with more than 18 years of experience in the field. He graduated from and underwent training at renowned academic institutions in the nation (Kilpauk Medical College) as well as top-tier medical facilities abroad: University of Pittsburgh medical Centre under the guidance of Dr AJ Demetris (Division Director) / Dr Parmjeet Randhawa MD & at New York Presbyterian Medical Center, USA under the guidance of Dr Jay H Lefkowitch, Professor of Clinical Pathology, Author of popular liver pathology book -“Liver Biopsy interpretation.

He is an active member and Participant in USCAP (United States and Canadian academy of Pathology) and IAPM (Indian academy of Pathology and Microbiology). His special interests lie in interpretation of GI & Hepatobiliary, Renal and Transplant Pathology.

He has received certification from the Quality Council of India for his quality and proficiency in medical laboratories, making him a respected expert in his field.

He is known for his love of academia & research and has published numerous papers in esteemed national and international journals. In a textbook on liver transplantation, he has also written a chapter. Over the course of his career, reputable institutions and hospitals have invited him to serve as a panelist and guest lecturer at a number of conferences and conventions.

He distinguishes himself from others by continually updating his knowledge of the shifting trends in the rapidly advancing sciences.
