Dr. Manikandan Venkatasubramaniyan

A skilled and passionate Surgical Oncologist with over 7 years of dedicated experience in advanced cancer care, Dr. Manikandan Venkatasubramaniyan brings strong clinical acumen with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques. Trained at premier institutions in India and internationally—including the prestigious Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, China—he is among the few Indian surgeons proficient in Uniportal VATS (Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery) for lung cancer.

His core areas of expertise span thoracic oncology and head & neck cancer, with substantial experience in performing robotic oesophagectomies, VATS lobectomies, metastasectomies, and complex head and neck reconstructions. He has conducted over 100 robotic surgeries and is a certified console surgeon.

A strong advocate for clinical research, he has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and received multiple national awards, including Gold Medals and Best Poster recognitions at leading surgical oncology conferences such as IHPBA and ICC.
