Swasam, the cancer support group by MGM Cancer Institute, recently organized an evening of inspiration and hope for cancer patients and survivors. The event aimed to highlight the importance of community support and its positive impact on the healing process.

Dr. Ma Raja, Senior Consultant Medical Oncology, Director of Oncology Services & Chairman, Medical Advisory Board, emphasized the need for a community-driven approach in cancer care during & after treatments during his opening remarks. The event also featured Miss Vaidehi, a cancer survivor, who shared her personal experiences and journey with the group. Her honest and inspiring talk offered a powerful message of hope, strength, and resilience to those fighting against cancer.

The event also included a yoga session led by Mr. Satyanarayan, a yoga expert and cancer survivor himself. He demonstrated the benefits of yoga in promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being, and provided useful tips and techniques for cancer patients and survivors.

The evening ended on a positive note with healthy snacks and beverages prepared by the talented chefs at MGM Cancer Institute, giving participants a chance to connect and share their experiences with one another.
