On 28th October 2022, MGM Cancer Institute Chennai organized a “Walk in Pink” awareness event to support Breast Cancer awareness. The walkathon was aimed at creating awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection, prevention, and treatment.

The walkathon was flagged off by chief guest Deputy Commisioner of Police P Thiru Vijaykumar. The event was also graced by Ms. Revathi, Actress, Film Director & Social Worker. Breast cancer survivors also shared stories and highlighted the need for early diagnosis.

Participants walked together to show their support for breast cancer awareness, wearing pink to symbolize hope and solidarity. The event saw a large turnout, with many people coming together to support this important cause.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women, and early detection is crucial for successful treatment.
