What happens during a consultation?

When you visit us for the first time, you need to register with us and obtain an identification number and a hospital record file. If you have visited us before, please bring your previous records for ready reference. A consultant will ask you questions regarding your health, your medical history will be noted, your previous medical records if any will be taken, any previous diagnostics test reports if any will also be taken. All this will be reviewed by the primary physician before your initial consultation with the doctor.

During your consultation, the doctor will discuss your health problems in detail, understand your symptoms and do a physical examination if required. It is possible that the doctor might require specific diagnostic studies like a urine culture test, stool test, blood test, scans, etc which will help give a thorough understanding of your individual biochemical and physiological parameters and help to diagnose the medical condition accurately. Post diagnosis, once your doctor understands your medical needs, the doctor will develop a specific care plan to treat your condition. Our support staff will assist you with any queries relating to admissions, insurance, financing and scheduling of your treatment if your treatment warrants a surgery.
